(GIT/REP-1) Nonresident Seller's Tax Declaration. Each non-resident seller
(1 form for husband/wife) must fill out one of these forms and submit a
check for the estimated amount of his/her share of the tax at the closing.
The top portion of the form is recorded as part of the deed and the bottom
portion is removed by the County Clerk’s office and forwarded along with
the check to the NJ State Division of Taxation
(GIT/REP-2) Nonresident Seller's Tax Prepayment Receipt. The non-resident seller(s)
may choose to prepay the estimated Gross Income Tax prior to the closing at one of
the NJ State Tax Division offices. An original receipted GIT/Rep-2 will be given to
the seller(s) and it must be included as part of the deed when submitted to the
County Clerk or Registrar for recording
(GIT/REP-3) Seller's Residency Certification/Exemption. Each resident seller
(1 form for husband/wife) must complete one of these forms at the closing.
